Our recreation program takes place in the Spring and Fall. Each session lasts 6 weeks. Our Spring program starts May 11 and ends June 15.
The first Saturday of recreation is a practice and may or may not include a scrimmage.
If you determine that your child/player will not be able to participate in the Recreation program, you will be eligible for a refund if the request is received prior to when registration closes. Refunds are not granted once registration is closed. Administrative fees as part of registration costs will not be refunded.
Please know that payment for any Mustangs program is completed through the Sports Engine system, and we cannot accommodate offline transactions.
Our program uses Pittsford town and school fields.
For players ages 4-5 (pre-K), practices are held on Saturdays for about an hour. Players ages 6-9 practice once a week for about an hour, and hour-long games are held on Saturdays.
If your child is 5-years old, but is not currently in kindergarten, your child will be placed in the Pre-K program.
Our Pre-K program, led by Mike Britton, is co-ed.
Born and raised in Rochester, Mike attended East High School. He continued his education at Syracuse University where he played soccer while earning a Bachelor's degree. Following college, he played five seasons with the Buffalo Blizzard of the NPSL, three seasons with the Houston Hotshots of the CISL, and was a member of the 1998 A-League Champion Rochester Rhinos. Mike is a Health/Physical Education Professor at Monroe Community College (MCC) where he was also an assistant coach to the women’s 2001, 2004, and 2005 NJCAA National Champions.
